Highway robbery
Have played this course several times over the years. It is in the worst shape I have ever seen. Tee boxes are bad but the greens are unplayable. Way better corses around for cheaper. Green fees do not reflect the condition of this course. The young kids working the pro shop are fairly friendly. However, the two older guys that usually work the pro shop are your typical grumpy old pro shop guys that look miserable even being there. Those guys make you feel like a burden even showing up. Doubt I will be back this year… what a shame
Wonderful Course
Loved the course layout only thing that needs help is the greens. They aren’t in Terrible condition but need work.
Great layout
L beautifully designed course. Conditions were pretty rough. Tea boxes are mostly sanded and irregular grass, greens were in fair to poor condition. Staff is nice. I would like to play this again when the greens and tea boxes match the layout.
Pace of play
Pace of play is terrible. If you don’t have all day to play a round, you will not finish.
Good shape for February
Meet and ole friend there to play, course was I’m good shape for February. Enjoyed the course and friendly people.
Amazing layout and views greens need work.
One of those courses you wish they would redo greens and it would be one of the best in Mississippi. Very relaxing though
Course was challenging and well laid out....just wish the greens were in better shape.... just sanded about a week ago... I will be back
Blown Away
Passing through the area on the way to a RTJ Trail buddies trip and decided to stop here and play for a quick warm up round. There isn’t much to pick from in central Mississippi and we all had pretty low expectations going into it. I was completely shocked at how fantastic this course was. I’ve never played a better course for less than $50. The layout, conditions & pace of play were top notch. Afterwards I realized the course was designed by Mark McCumber who also built Greystone right outside of Nashville which is one of my favorite courses. The only problem some people will have is that the course is a nightmare for walkers. On several occasions you are driving in a cart for a very long time in between holes. Other than that I can’t recommend this course enough.

Awesome course layout in great condition just off main interstate.
Outstanding service and course
Incredible course, incredible value, and outstanding staff. The greens were bumpy, but they also had recently aerated
nice layout
My wife and I played this course on our way back to NC as a rest stop in our motorhome in Hattiesburg.
It is definitely a challenging course with no prior knowledge - there is water lurking everywhere and on a few holes didn't realize that it was in front of the green - there aren't any pictures posted of the holes.
I'm not sure if they even sell a course guide. The greens are tiered on many holes which makes putting tricky - you have to know how to read a green to get it close but they were rolling very true.
The day was blustery so wind was a factor and not being a long driver, I had to lay up on several holes but did manage to shoot near my current handicap.
We would definitely play here again, esp. in warmer weather. We were the only ones playing on the course for most of the day.
Reminds me of Atlanta.
I play this course a few times a year and wonder why I do not play it more often. The course was in excellent shape and the green were fast just the way they should be. Three of us played in three hours with one foursome letting us go through. Eighteen is a challenge with two water shots but a great finishing hole.

challenging course. Lots of sand. Fairways and greens in good shape. Course is well worth the money.
Must play!
Great courser to play. Very nice fairways and greens!
