About
Colorado-born designer Andy Johnson created the 18-hole, public course at the Saddleback Golf Club. It is located in Firestone, just north of Denver. The championship course features 7,041 yards of golf from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The terrain resembles a classic prairie with views of mountains from both the north and the south. The links-style golf course features large, undulating greens and open, rolling fairways. There are also man-made lakes scattered throughout the course that create water hazards on some of the holes. Saddleback Golf Club has many challenging holes, two to note are the fourth, which has an island green, and the seventh, which features a split fairway.
