About
The Golf d'Orleans-Donnery, was established in 1952 and is the oldest golf course in Loiret. The initial 9 holes were designed by a colonel from NATO stationed in Orléans, who successfully convinced the château owner, herself a golfer, of the interest in building a course on her estate. Inaugurated about twenty years ago, the additional 9 holes were added to Golf d'Orleans-Donnery. They were created by Olivier Van der Vinck, also known for designing the golf course in Cheverny. Golf d'Orleans-Donnery 18-hole golf course, Par 71, measuring 5,598 meters, offers nine wooded holes with wide fairways and nine more technical holes embellished with water hazards and bunkers.
