Ranch Hills Golf Course is situated halfway between Salem and Portland in the heart of Mulino. Mill Creek wanders through the course and comes into play on several holes, elevating the layout from being a simple nine-hole, pitch and putt. It's not a long course by any means but there is an interesting mix of short and long holes that offer plenty of variety. Your shot-placement skills will be put to the test and you'll also have to employ some creative shot making. In addition to crossing the creek three different times, there are several other tricky spots on the golf course including strategically placed traps and tricky uneven lies. With scenic covered bridges, relatively flat terrain, and short distances from the tees to greens, the golf course is great for walking.
