About
Blue Ocean Golf Club (previously known as Sechelt Golf Club) is an 18 hole, par 72 links style course, designed and built by Olson, Beatty and Hnatiuk (1990-1992). The course itself features generous fairways and large gently sloping greens, and there are just enough hazards to make the course challenging, while the multiple tee system allows players to golf at their own level. It can be best described as a beautiful golf course where wildlife abounds and there are views of the snow capped coastal range and Porpoise Bay.

Excellent Staff
The course is an interesting mix of challenging holes.The staff are superb. they know their business and excel at delivering friendly supportive service.
An enjoyable golfing experience for all levels of golf.
Nice walkable track
This course is very playable, with straight forward putting surfaces. Perfect for walking or riding. Ocean breezes make for interesting club selections. Nice course!
Monday Play
We managed to play in 3:30 on the early afternoon time tees and greens were very good but the fairways were starting to dry out, decent course for the money.
sechelt course is a hidden gem
what are you waiting for..? it is a beautiful setting with two nine layouts very contrasting to each other . The course is in excellent condition!
Much Better conditions at Sechelt Golf Club
Traps improved and filled up and fairways and greens nice too! Challenging golf course in decent shape and priced right. Take a power cart unless you feel like walking up the hills on 8, 9 and 11. New food service operation as well.
Fair challenge
Front nine is lynx like while the back is tighter and more tree lined. Course is being improved - all bunkers have new sand and overall design is being improved.
Course situated in nice location with lovely views.
Great improvements
Lots has been going on at the course over the last year and it is really taking shape. The larger and better maintained sand traps and smaller greens have really increased the level of enjoyment. A lot of trees have been removed around the water traps adding to the beauty of the surroundings. Really enjoyed the day
excellent value
we had a delightful round. All staff were helpful and extremely pleasant. We finished at five and were disappointed we couldn't have a meal or a drink.
restaurant was closed. Think it should be open especially during the high season.
A New Look
New owners are making a lot of on course improvements, if you have not played here this season its worth another trip. Great things are expected in the future.
This course has beautiful scenery
Not a bad course.....the rough is like the U.S open and fairways are very narrow, thus if your off a little....good luck finding your ball......very frustrating!!
