Great grass conditions
The course is in fantastic shape.
I originally made a mistake about my tee time and showed up at 6:30 am instead of 6:30 pm. It was an honest mistake. When I tried to talk to the supervisor on site, he was more concerned about telling me about operation times instead of helping me out. He was rude. I just needed 2 minutes of help. By the way the time of this interaction was 6:22 am. 8 minutes before the opening. I thought to myself that if the course was privately owned, I think they would have taken 2 minutes to help out a potential customer.
Great course
Lakeview Golf Club is, in my opinion, one of the best municipal golf courses you will find anywhere. The conditions consistently rival private clubs, with well-maintained fairways, excellent greens, and an overall level of presentation that stands out for a public facility.
The course itself is a true gem , well-designed, enjoyable to play, and always in great condition. Considering the quality of the course and the experience provided, the pricing is very affordable and offers exceptional value.
Overall, Lakeview delivers a private-club feel at a municipal course price, making it one of the best value golf experiences in the area.
Classic Muni
Hadn't played Lakeview in years - course was in good shape, service was excellent. Aside from one quirky hole, it's a good layout....though plays fairly short (6300 yards from the tips). Great value!
Local favourite
A great local course owned by the city. Close by and well maintained. Better than Braeben or any of the Toronto public courses

Always a Good Time
Lakeview is hands down the best city-owned golf course in the GTA. The course is always in fantastic condition, offering a layout that is both fun and challenging.
Typically, the pace of play is excellent, which is a huge plus for a public course this popular. The one and only downside is how difficult it can be to get a tee time. The booking window is competitive, and tee times are often completely booked within minutes of being released online. If you can manage to snag a spot, you're in for a real treat.

Wow I love LAKEVIEW
So forgive me I’m late but wow I love LAKEVIEW. I just wish it was easier to get tee times, but now I get why!!!
