Lakeview Golf Course

Torontos #1 Municipal course, is in Mississauga off Dixie. Honestly it’s the best in my humble opinion. From a golf addicti with a 17 handicap I’m not great but the track is. If you’ve never been go now and good luck finding a tee time because this isn’t a hidden secret, people love this track: you can’t warm up your driver and you’ll need it for holes 2, 4,5,6,7,8…

Did I mention it’s also beautiful, cool clubhouse and clean bathrooms it’s a gem

Lakeview is a treat, always. Location 10/10 pricing 10/10 and it’s drop dead gorgeous the only gimmicky hole is 12 but I love it.

Chances are you will see me there so say hi!

The greens and kept in excellent shape.

The length of the course is favourable for long hitters and has enough par 3 and 4 for less aggressive drivers off the tee.

Some work needs to be done in the area of pace of play as some golfers take multiple shots even when the group behind you is already at the same hole you are teeing off and waiting.

As a resident of Mississauga, who has been golfing here since I was a teenager, I am always impressed with how good the conditions are, considering the enormous amount of volume it pushes through. Will continue to come here, will continue to enjoy the course, and will continue to tell my friends about the good experience here at Lakeview.

The course is in fantastic shape.

I originally made a mistake about my tee time and showed up at 6:30 am instead of 6:30 pm. It was an honest mistake. When I tried to talk to the supervisor on site, he was more concerned about telling me about operation times instead of helping me out. He was rude. I just needed 2 minutes of help. By the way the time of this interaction was 6:22 am. 8 minutes before the opening. I thought to myself that if the course was privately owned, I think they would have taken 2 minutes to help out a potential customer.
