Cedarhill Golf and Country Club

The course held up well despite the frequent rainshowers. It was not mushy and the balls did not plug. The greens remained relatively quick and played true.

Overall, an enjoyable round.

Cart condition was poor, dirt & leaves found on cart

Cedarhill is a fine course to play in terms of fairways condition this war. The Rough areas and green though are honestly very bad and need care and maintenance direly. That said, with my corporate Golf membership the price is fair to play. And because I could only book myself and wanting to play with another player friend who’s not a corporate golf member I booked through GolfNow to get him the same teatime that I took. What went wrong though was arriving at the club my friend in advance of me walked in, and the people told him I was on the booking with another threesome. He essentially they didn’t put my booking on that I done with the other booking and it wasn’t a problem for them to not care at all as they told me I’d be inconveniencing anyone else if they threw us in with anyone else or gave us a separate twosome when clearly I had receipts for both. They dumbfounded looked at me like I was from another planet and didn’t understand their way of doing business that I should’ve called them and made arrangements. Here’s where it gets really stupid. I have tried to call Cedar Hill many many times in the past they don’t answer the phone so it’s impossible to do a booking on the phone. As well with my membership I don’t need to call them because I can do booking myself if I enter a teatime and I have done that with my one membership. Meanwhile, done a second payment option with another form, which is the GolfNow. We went there and in the end we were told that we couldn’t play as a twosome. It was embarrassing and quite frankly rude and unacceptable and I will never play Cedar Hill again. We went and had a great game at Stonebridge, which is epically better as a golf course. Of course it’s more expensive, but it’s easily worth four times the price Cedarhill get your act together although I think it’s fair to say you won’t be around for long if your conditions keep sucking the way you do and the way you have service I’ve inconveniencing someone who obviously has receipts for two bookings. It’s really sad because the course is situated and beautiful land and even the big homes that are around it that are a little bit sore to the eyes are covered and beautiful greenery now. I hope someone buys the club and turns it into something better it will be amazing.

I think the writing is on the wall that this course is going to be closing in a few years. Looks like they are not putting money into it whatsoever. Carts are rundown, uneven tee boxes in terrible condition with shaggy grass, huge rocks in the bunkers and other issues. I wont be back.

Played Cedarhill the other day and it was in rough shape, I mean rough….

Greens were almost not playable so patchy.i don’t think a single person fixes a divot on there.

Fairways were not cut and tee blocks were dirt.

Overall layout was meh.

Where golf course is located I expected a nice well maintained course, no probably roughest course I’ve ever played.

Overall course in great shape since last played 2 years ago.

Friendly staff.

Pace of play 4.5 hrs for 18 holes.

Would recommend golf course.

Great course greens are fast and tricky, sadly bunkers is the only thing not up to par

The staff were all exceptional. Surprised that the course had so many available tee times available considering it to be very nice

Played the course with friends. All four of us agreed we would be back soon. Very scenic, good condition for early spring, lovely outdoor patio for a meal, tasty pub food.
