About
When Dallas began to sprawl to the north in the 1960s, The Clubs of Prestonwood opened to serve the families that would inevitably follow the migration.
The Creek Course was the original track, carved out of the live oaks and pecans. Spotted with creeks and lakes, it is the tighter and more difficult of the two courses. Water comes into play on 16 of 18 holes, and many approaches require carries of the lakes and creeks. Four holes stand out on the Creeks, including the demanding 410-yard opener. Two long par 5s, Nos. 5 and 17, can eat you alive, and the 230-yard No. 17 has been the cause of many ruined rounds.
