Excellent public golf course

Although South Portland Municipal is a somewhat short 9-hole course, it is a very challenging course. I have enjoyed playing there well over 200 times in the past five years. I especially like the greens, which are a true test of one’s putting ability. My only complaint: during COVID the clubhouse was closed, and I wish that they would open it again. Better yet, they should close the library, which is in the same building on the second floor above the clubhouse, and make a truly enjoyable after golf experience with a restaurant and bar.
