About
Originally known as the Merkel Golf Club, Tin Cup Country Club offers a short 18-hole, par 70 track, that covers about 100 acres. Originally just a 9-hole course, the new nine opened in 1997. The course features bent-grass greens that are well maintained. The signature hole is No. 3, a 150-yard par 3 that requires a tee shot over water.
Getting there : The course is 14 miles west of Abilene, 1 mile north of I-20 on FM 126. The entrance is on the left side of the road.
