One of Ralph Plummer’s last projects, Oak Grove opened in 1979 and plays to a 3,187-yard par 36. Plummer’s design features well-conditioned greens and narrow fairways lined by old trees.
Getting there : From Dallas, take Hwy. 80 east 20 miles to Hwy. 205. Turn north and drive 1.5 miles to Colquitt Rd., where you’ll turn right to the course.
