Double J Ranch Golf Club Scorecard and Tees

Double J Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Quicksand Golf Course) in Wimberley has had some tough times since it originally opened in the 1970s but being under new management since 2001, has quickly transformed the course into one of the area's most memorable layouts. There are two defining characteristics on this course, the trees and the doglegs. Every hole on the front nine is a dogleg with the exception of two of the par 3s. On the back nine, the doglegs are less frequent but that is where all of the mature trees come into play. There are also more dramatic changes in elevation on the back nine. The par-4 eighth hole is Double J Ranch Golf Club's signature, serving as a perfect example of the type of severe dogleg the layout has become known for.
