About

Located near the center of Bijou Meadows in South Lake Tahoe, the Bijou Municipal Golf Course has been a local favorite since its establishment in 1920. This historic nine-hole golf course has a scenic wooded landscape that offers stunning views of Freel Peak due to its tucked away location in the High Sierras. The layout consists of five par 4s and four par 3s. Bijou Municipal Golf Course's fairways are lined with towering pine trees. The greens range in size from small to medium and some are flat while others have mild undulation. There are a few sand bunkers strategically placed throughout, but there are no water hazards on the golf course.
