About
Pete Dye designed the private, 18-hole golf course at Glenmoor Country Club. The famed golf architect hoped to create a challenging and enjoyable course for intermediate to advanced golfers that beginners can still play. The course stretches over 6,736 yards at its longest tees, playing to a par of 71. The course is quite tricky, especially from the back tees. The links-style course was built on a hilly landscape creating many uneven lies. Five lakes add scenery to the course while also serving as water hazards that come into play on fourteen holes. Glenmoor Country Club's signature hole is the 17th, which is a par 3 that covers 213 yards. The hole is difficult because it requires a tee shot over water in order to reach the green.
