Wampanoag Golf Course

Took a beginner to practice, she loved it! I had fun too. Just wish the tee boxes were mowed. Grass was 4 inches high....higher than my ball on a tee!

Being 88 years old, I’m not looking for a pristine course, as I only enjoy to be able to get out & play, therefore, I’m very satisfied with golfing on this course. It meets all of my expectations and I continue to look forward to playing here. Kudos to the entire staff

Awesome day except the starter was rude saying I was 2 mins late for a tee time on a Thursday afternoon at 2:30pm. Eventually let me play on but shouldn’t have been such a struggle. Fun little course.

Its like playing in open fields; tee boxes look like the fairways which look like the rough. The at times very open layout is good for beginners who may spray the ball all over the place -

This course offers many challenges for long ball hitters as well as golfers that slice or hook as course is wide open. Course in good shape. My only concern is attempting to find the next hole. Markers identifying next hole would be terrific. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended

I took my young nephews here to play a track for the first time. Very friendly staff, and a good track to introduce the youngsters to play on a course and basic golf etiquette. It was hot, not crowded, and the boys had a blast.

To the detractors who have blasted the course, for the price you pay, you shouldn't expect Augusta conditions. This was good for what it is. I hope to bring them back soon.

The guy was friendly and apologetic but due to equipment issues the grass was long and the course was in terrible shape. The course isn’t easy to follow when it’s mowed, so playing it unkept was tough. Everyone was friendly and understanding that it took some time to find your ball, so it was pretty slow and backed up.

This is hands down the worst course I’ve ever played at.

Played for the first time today. Will NEVER go back. Don’t even have any words to state how badly maintained this course was.

"The Swamp", and I say that dearly, is a fantastic place to play. Not your run of the mil course, roll up to the first tee after checking in and just play. Fun place to go with a group of friends and get in a fairly quick round. Rain or shine I personally have not waited behind many groups here. The attraction of the course is not the conditions or design, but the convenience and good vibe the place gives off. Grab a hand full of balls and some clubs and go whack it. Go into it knowing it's not the most pristine place you will see, but it is still easy to enjoy. One word of warning, after rain it takes a few days to dry out, puddles form and the name "The Swamp" becomes more fitting. But it always gets right back into playing condition.

TL;DR, Great for some fast fun, go into it with realistic expectations and you will enjoy.

It's a chance to walk 18. Very flat, some water, but not difficult. Its a great price even without the hot deal!
