Sidney Country Club

You can’t get a round in without someone hitting into you on purpose, or then yelling at your from another Tee box. I’ve had multiple rounds where I’m waiting on a group to clear in front of me and I’m dodging golf balls and getting a group of 3-4 threatening me as they drive by.

Even as a fairly decent near daily golfer. I’d never recommend this place.

Need more signage. Hard to find the next hole, need a map of the course on the back of the score card. Got a good deal on golf now, otherwise, too expensive to play.

Course was in great condition. Staff was just there to take your money. Not super friendly. Food was average. Bar help was friendly.

Course was in good shape. Wasn't too busy that day so pace of play was perfect, I even got to tee off early!

I came to Sidney with high expectations based on the website and some other reviews I had read. After the first couple of holes I was in complete agreement. But then it felt just like a very boring tree lined course that was so overpriced that I couldn't wait to get out of there.
The holes all play very close to one another with massive trees separating them. The back 9 plays more open and easier. Maintenance was in full force, vacuuming all the cotton on the fairways. It was very easy to lose a ball right down the middle. I'll recommend it but I'd never play it again.
