Annual Golf trip in The Spring
We have been golfing this course for nearly 25 years in the spring before the heat arrives in the desert. This year we played three days of golf, took some lessons and had wonderful, delicious food in the snack shop.
All of the staff were friendly and very helpful in answering our questions. The course is in good shape compared to last year at this time. The views are magnificent for this course, so you need to look up when you are not golfing to take in the beauty. Rob Jones the golf pro is fantastic to work with especially trying to teach new ways to golf for the over 70-year-olds crowd that still likes to golf on a regular basis. He works wonders with such simple tips! The locals are lucky to have him and this course in Moab. We have plenty of high-end resorts in Southern Utah so this course by the Arches is priceless. Grab your clubs and get down there to play some desert golf! See you next year!
Excellent, scenic course
Very good golf course with unbelievable views. Back nine would be very scenic compared to almost any other course, but it pales in comparison to the front nine - some of the views on the front nine are just jaw-dropping. Somewhat unknown course and I don't know why, it is everything any traveling golfer could ask for. Their are a lot of great things to do in Moab, but you should keep this course on your list.
We Highly Recommend Moab Golf Course
We played Moab Golf Course on a Sunday afternoon and nearly had the course to ourselves; we only saw a couple other golfers the whole time. The clubhouse staff here were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The front nine is more scenic then the back nine and both were in very good condition. Lots of elevation changes on the front nine while the back nine is flatter. Lots of wildlife, including wild turkeys. Overall, a very enjoyable golf outing.
Memorable spot
Played here during a quick stop through town last summer. If you LOVE golf and don't really care about amenities and just want an interesting layout, this is worth a play. If you like frills beyond just a good course, then maybe play somewhere else.
