Great greens, very dried out otherwise
Hilly is an understatement, but greens were fast and rolled true. Received shots well and held them. Fairways were still mostly green, but all rough areas were brown and burnt out. Much to be expected this time of year and without much rain for the past month or so.
Pace was good, but as a single, I was behind a large grouo of 3 and 4 somes, I was waiting a good bit. Fortunately there were places where I could go back and replay some holes as there were no groups behind me or do some extra practicing.
I will be back and will play it again. Golf now hot deals are the best!
Intermediate Golfer
As an intermediate golfer who has just got back into golf I find this course challenging but forgiving. The fairways are in good shape, however the greens ate a little beat up.
Recommended!
Found this course while scanning courses on Golfnow. Reviews seemed good and pics looked nice. When we arrived we got our cart and said we have golfed the course. An employee came out with the scorecard and explained the course layout which really helped. The staff was super friendly.
Pros- Course in decent shape
Challenging holes and layout
Friendly staff
Fair price
Pace of play fine
Cons-
Some blind holes/greens
Irrigation running on about 7 of the 14 holes we played today. Not fun trying to dodge water all day. We walked off after seeing irrigation running on 15 after 4 consecutive holes dancing in between sprinklers.
Not worth the drive.
MNT woodview
Great staff nice.little pro shop your typical beer dogs.etc....course layout front 9 a little strange but still a nice course for the money!
Nice track, great people.
Have nothing to complain about. Greens are in great shape. Play was fast, yet no waiting. Worth the drive from Pittsburgh for 9 holes.
Small greens
Played here for the first time today 6/22/25. Curse was very well maintained. The greens were very challenging as they are probably the smallest I’ve ever seen and are not flat at all. It was very difficult to hold a ball on the green due to the size and undulation in the greens.
A Great Value!
I was very pleased with the course overall. Lots of hills and valleys…I’ll do better next time. Entire staff was polite and professional. I ended up playing the front nine with one of the groundskeepers…great young man with free advise on how to stay out of trouble. Not a long course, but a very good course for the money. I’d go out of my way to play again being from out of town.
