Deerfield Country Club

I called ahead to make sure the course was opened. I wished they said it was closed. I asked the guy how the greens were and he said they have had a rough year, biggest understatement ever. The putting surface (I will not call them greens) are full of crab grass, cracks and what looked to be turquoise colored paint, which might have been spray on grass. I wont even talk about the fairways. When we entered the course we saw the #8 putting surface looked kinda of bad but we went with it. #8 was the best. They charge $16 for 9 & $32 for 18 to ride for non-members. Its a shame that these folks let this course get so bad and still charge that much to play.
