Voyager Par Three at Voyager Village Country Club

We had a 230 pm tee time only to arrive to find a tournament that was running long. We were not informed that there was a tournament this day. We waited at every hole and finally on the back 9, there were four foursomes waiting on one hole. No ranger and no starter to complain to. We finally gave up on 14 and went back and played a few holes on the front. Club house employees were not sympathetic and the restaurant closed, so after a frustrating round we couldn’t find a sandwich or cold drink either. I understand employees are hard to find but please don’t schedule public tee times knowing that there is a large tournament that inevitably would run late without a ranger or starter.

Had a nice round, got stuck behind a family with child that could have let us play through anywhere from 2-12 when I think they quit because they really held up 11 and we accidentally hit into them. Would have liked a beverage at the turn but they were closed and had a twosome behind us that were pushing us.

I had heard of this course and always wanted to give it a whirl. The GolfNow rate made the 90-minute drive worth every penny of gas. Helped to get paired with two locals who could give tips on some of the blind shots and doglegs.

Overall very pleased, had the right day at the right time
