Owned by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, which includes the Warm Springs, Wasco and Paiute Indians, Kah-Nee-Ta is the centerpiece of the 600,000 acre reservation. A sleeper, fairways in good shape! Greens a lot better!

The place to be when it is raining on the other side of the mountains.
Good for casual golfer
The course is under new management. They are very friendly and trying to get the course back into good condition. It has obviously been neglected. The front nine is not in as good condition as the back nine. The back nine has some very nice scenery and interesting holes. The pace of play is good. We were a twosome and played in a little more than 3 hours. The greens are slow and then sand traps not pristine but we had an enjoyable round. Senior Monday is $30.00 and Couples Tuesday is $45.00 for 2 with cart. It is well worth it for those prices. We will plan to play there again.
New management
Kahneeta the last 2 years has been in bad shape, long rough slow greens. Under new management opened March 10, 2017 it is getting back to the old Kah-Nee-Ta
with better rates.
Don't play golf here!!!! Horrible conditions!
I have played golf for 45 years and have NEVER seen a golf course in as poor of condition as Kah-Nee-Ta. Weeds growing on the greens weeds growing in the sand traps, weeds everywhere in the fairways... get the picture? One hole I barely missed the fairway and lost my ball in 8 inch thick weed/rough! Management said that they fired the head greenskeeper but kept the crew. I saw 4 "crew" members on the course and it didn't appear to me that much work was getting done. No beverage cart OR snack bar. Only 3 people on the course the entire time I was there... and I can see why! I used to play here at least once a year, but I won't be going back until I'm assured of a different course. Save your money (not cheap) and play somewhere else!
