Really gone downhill
I have played here before, but it’s been a couple years. I have to say that this place has really gone downhill. The greens were absolutely atrocious like unplayable. The staff is super friendly, which makes it hard to write this review but this place is absolutely terrible. I don’t remember it being this bad. if you absolutely have nowhere else to play then maybe this place would be OK but I don’t think I will ever come back, unfortunately.
It was in rough shape
The bunkers were terribly un-maintained, the greens were lumpy. I don’t have super high expectations for golf courses, but this is a course I would not go back to.
Just for warm up
Great old guy running the place with2 dogs and a bar. Good place to warm up swinging but the course is a p3 with a fe long holes. Used the driver twice but not needed. Greens were un pitiable with dandelion and sand. Sand traps all filled with water. Again this is at best a driving range....not golf course.
It’s a “golf course”
Look if you’re trying to play a cheap round this is a great place for that and the staff was nice. But they don’t even have tee boxes it feels like because it isn’t cut so I feel like I’m hitting out of the rough. Greens are patchy and the same problem as the tee boxes not cut. Fairways feel like they’re the rough as well not at all cut.
If you just want a quick cheap round for fun it’s a fine course but don’t waste your time otherwise.
Overpriced for Poor Conditions
Disappointed I wasted a tee time credit. The pictures online make it look way better than it is. The tee boxes are uneven. The fairways are basically rough, covered in dandelions the course drains poorly. while $16 for nine holes riding seemed reasonable, I feel like I wasted my teatime credit here due to the poor conditions certainly not worth what they charge normally without any hot deal time would recommend Washington Park in Racine over this course and that’s saying something just stick to other local courses like Ives Grove or Johnson Park
Not Worthy of Being on the Golf Now System
This place is not a golf course but a cow pasture.
The reservation you make will be meaningless as they do not even use a reservation system that I could see.
Forced carries on many holes makes this course extremely unfair to the ladies in the group.
Stay away.
