Hidden Cove Golf Course

This is the best desert course I've played. The course is lined by rock hills, not quite mountains that seemed to funnel bad shots back in play. Most other desert courses have rough, jagged rocks and terrain that send your ball every which way but back in play. Maybe I was lucky but the rocky hills seemed to be made of smooth rocks that knocked the ball back in play. The rocky hills lined many of the fairways so I hit quite a few of them. I wish more courses were made like this that funnel your ball back towards the fairways instead of being so penalizing. If I were to build a course I would definitely employ that into the design for many holes. Not every hole but at least half of them. It would make golf more enjoyable for beginners especially and help to grow the game instead of building courses so penalizing all the time. There's enough tough courses out there already if you need a challenge for us more experienced players. I'll definitely be back when I head West on I-40 again.
