Hickory Hill Country Club & Resort
About
Formerly known as Mississippi National Golf Club
Designer Earl Stone's vision of a traditional yet demanding test of golf comes to life at Hickory Hill Country Club. Water comes into play on 10 holes, demanding strict attention to shot placement and strategy.
The 6,983 yard, par-72 layout is scenic enough to put a player's mind at ease, while challenging enough for even the most expert golfers. A course rating of 73.1 and a slope of 128 has enabled Hickory Hill to host numerous high profile events.
The 18-hole semi-private golf course opened in 1965.

Gem in the Rough....Too Bad, So Sad
As they say, 'What good Bones'.
What has been done...all new carts.
What has to happen! Money Money Money. Whom ever owns this or is in charge needs a Big Wallets and/or Purses.
The Greens are just awful. Un-puttable. We played, within a foot 'The leather' was holed. 2-putts and out!
Honestly, the greens if they were aerated filled and rolled could be a start. Do it again then over-seed during the colder months and close the course for 3 months.
The Sand-traps or the 'No-Sand traps could be tolerable if worked over with a shovel, rake and a sieve.
The Driving Range could be easily made to look like one. Up dated mats, nothing off the dirt. Get some real balls not the course finders.
The Fairways are playable but you need maintenance out there with a push mower to hit the areas missed by the machine.
**Swap the front and the back 9's.
The visiting area and the restaurant are exquisite. The course is killing the eatery.
Hickory Hills could be a solid course.
Fun place for a bargain round
Greens and tees need some love. Layout nice but course definitely needs some TLC.
Great Vlur
Friendly staff, nice course, nice layout, and GREAT value. Bunkers need some work, greens are ok,
but overall, great experience for an even better price. Will he back, for sure.
Great value
Greens were a bit sketchy comparatively speaking but loved everything else.
Nice Course
Nice course but awfully long for senior men & women. Need to have a few additional tees for both senior men and women.
Fun
Nice course for the money. Was a little disappointed when I got to hole13 and tee boxes where moved ahead 200 yards, didn’t know. Overall was good course
Conditions improving
Conditions are improving but still have a way to go. Greens need to be better. Sand traps need sand. Layout is good. Electric carts with GPS now. Not busy when I played so pace was very good.
Conditions improving
Course conditions are improving. Played over a month ago and grass was poor. Now grass is improving. Fairways and tee boxes need more cutting. Bunkers need sand. They now have new electric golf carts with GPS. Layout is good.
Terrible Course
Unfriendly management, poorly maintained, golf carts older than my grandfather that will choke you out from the fumes. Don’t was your time or money.
☀️🥵
Nice round but the heat was stifling at 103*
Course is in good condition
Not for me
Weeds weeds and more weeds. Poor fairway conditions due to course maintenance. Tee boxes you need extra long tee to get above the weeds
Poor Conditions
Course conditions are not good. Greens slow and bushy. Fairways longer than should be. Layout is good. Gas carts. No GPS. Nice yardage book. Was not crowded when I played so pace of play was excellent.

Absolutely the worst golf course I’ve ever played in my life.
It had a 4 star review! That is not even close.
The whole course was in horrible condition. Someone said that they had problems with their irrigation system.
There were two sets of 5 in front of us going super slow. No sign of a ranger to speed things up.
After playing 3 holes in 45 minutes we finally left and went to Sunkist golf course, which was very nice.
