Phenomenal views
Amazing course with amazing views of the grand valley the course plays very nice. The staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions you have. It’s a great value in the valley
Tournament
It’s been almost 10 years since I played here. The course has matured nicely. I love the layout having 3 different nines to play. All of it was good...Except. There was a local tournament being played this particular Saturday. My wife and I drove from California to Fruita to visit me mom and play golf. I booked online for 18 holes. I even talked with the pro shop to make sure everything was on the up and up. This was done a week before our visit. On arriving at the course we found out there’s a tournament. We were never told this when I called or booked!
They said we could play our first nine at our booked time at 9:25, but that’s it. We had to wait until after 12:00 to play the second 9. Really?? Frustrated and disappointed.
The young man in the clubhouse should have mentioned the tournament. I would have booked a Sunday round instead.
This course is great
Adobe Creek National, Monument and Desert courses are REALLY FUN to play especially as a chick! Fairways are long and straight but not too tight. Greens are in perfect condition. "All natural, high desert" rough. Scenery is spectacular! If you play in late September and you're lucky enough, you may even see DARK thounderous rain clouds race across the western slope skyline and perhaps produce double rainbows as the sun sets to the west and illuminates the Monument, Bookcliff and the Mesa. Welcome to Grand Junction, CO! Prices are very reasonable, staff happy to see and serve you. I'll be back in a couple months.

Straight Forward Golf
This 9 is flat enough for walking and has enough features to keep it interesting. Not an overly challenging course, but requires skill with basic shots. The staff was friendly and got me out while an outing was going on over the other 18 holes.
