Amazing shape, great value
This course is in great shape. For the value it is well worth the drive from Philly. The starters were very friendly and the facility seemed to run extremely smooth. We saw 6 deer on hole 17, what a treat!
Outstanding Course! Plus helping troubled youths
This is not only an outstanding course to play but also helps the troubled youths from The Glen Mills School (WIN WIN!). This was our second time playing and we enjoyed it even better than the first. The course is in great shape with rolling fairways, fast true greens and great scenery. It's been a long time since I said a course that can beat you up was "fun" and "neat" which is exactly the way I describe it to friends when recommending it. This can be a very challenging course if you miss the fairways and greens. The rough is thick and thicker. The greens are huge and difficult to read sometimes, you will think it's going left but it goes right!! Play it and you will understand
Hardest 6300 yard course I played.
This course is in magnificent condition. Greens are huge, undulating , speedy and true. Fairways are perfect. If you are off them by 2 feet your are in deep stuff. When calling in the staff said I could walk. I do not recommend that. after 6 holes I was in a cart.Some fariways are narrow. The Par 3's as a group are stunning. $95 is worth it. Thought it odd to pay extra for range balls (beat). range is grass. Practice area has trap. Shower facilities available. Overhead shower was awesome. Only complaint is the water coolers had mold in the spigot.
Stunning!
Arguably the best public course in eastern PA, this place truly lives up to its reputation. The views are stunning, the conditions are top notch, and the layout is amazing. Would most definitely come back!
