Course condition

Not good conditions!! From extremely dry to swamp like areas. Wild Bermuda grass in several greens. Lack of mowing and infrequent moving of pin locations.

meh....not bad

This course is decent, great views of the desert and Pecos river. Fairways could be much better. you are suppose to be rewarded with a good lie but half the time its hard dirt with little grass. Greens are maintained decent. Out of bounds marker are placed in odd spots on some holes like the 11 hole where the markers are about 90 feet from the fairway so THE DESERT! Is in play. It slows down pace of play looking for your ball that looks just like the rocks in the desert. The staff is not to friendly and the only food in the club house is vending machines. What I do like is lots of elevation that gives it character which makes up for no bunkers. And there's a nice 9 hole par 3 course across the street to help with iron play for a low price. Over its a nice course in need of a little flare and some grooming.
