great value
Very challenging for the first time playing this course. Greens were a bit slow. Sand traps were top notch. Tees had long grass on most. The owner was extremely friendly. Definately a great deal for a last minute Saturday tee time. Would recommend to others and would play again if we are back in the area.
Beautiful
Course is in great shape....greens are fast ....not crowded at all.
Nice course with fast greens. We were pretty much alone on the course which allowed us to play pressure free. A nice nine hole to break up our vacation week in Oscoda.
Hidden Gem
I've been golfing in the Oscoda area for the past 4 years and ran across Loggers Trace this past weekend. The people thanked us for coming to their course when we paid and were extremely friendly. The course has both challenging and breathtaking holes. The views of Lake Huron were beautiful. I took several pictures of the course because of its beauty. I would recommend this course to anyone golfing in the Oscoda area
Nice course
I'm a 10 handicap, and this is a great course for the price. It's a very well kept for a mom and pop owned golf course. Some challenging holes that feel tight down the fairway, but a few easier par 4's mixed in to make up strokes on. I belong to Lakewood Shores golf resort in Oscoda, which is 10 miles south of LoggersTrace. I would rather play here at LoggersTrace or Redhawk in Tawas than deal with the weekend binge drinkers that take 5-6 hours to play 18 at Lakewood Shores. This course is comfortable to play and the only thing I could knock for the entire course would be a few of the tee boxes are very uneven and rough.
great track with views...
Mom and pop course done right. bring your A game. tight holes on the front...no homes...great visual course.
