Green grass, brown grass
Condon is a well put together 9 hole regulation track. Pretty impressive, considering the remote location.
All honor system here. You sign in and slip your greens fee in the deposit box (cash only).
First thing you notice is the contrast in green grass vs dry/hard white/brown. Tees/greens are well watered and lush, everything else is up to mother nature. I don't object to this...with water at such a premium everywhere, it is better to have a course like Condon than no course at all.
Green are slow but consistent. Very exposed course and wind is big factor. There is no staff, and no ameneties. There is a bathroom by 1st tee.
