Whispering Pines Golf and Country Resort

I feel the fairways are very hard . The grass doesn’t hold the ball up off the dirt.

Finally a nice sunny day at Whispering Pines. My husband and I love golfing here. We have been out here for 5 years and absolutely love the course. Hopefully more sunny days to come.

I have been playing Whispering Pines for over 20 years. On June 1st the course rewarded me with my second Hole in One on hole 11. A 141 yard par 3. I absolutely love this course.

There should not be a golf course that close to that many houses. Few holes you are prohibited to go for the green which in my opinion is kind of dumb. Also the course states your responsible for damages if you break a window or anything with a ball. Course layout was very poor in my opinion but it works.

Course conditions were TOP NOTCH fast really well kept greens and fairways. They did cram tee times to close together there was 4 groups backed up at one point.

Amateur player. Excellent value for the money. Through Golf Now app was less than $50 each for 2 of us, 18 with a cart. Will be going again.

Great layout. Some of the homes on the course are close.

Unfortunately, after 7 holes of play, a big storm hit and we had to quit.

Came back to the clubhouse and asked for a raincheck. The guy at the desk seemed to delay giving it to us until another guy that just came off hole 11 asked for a raincheck too.

The desk fellow then went to a backroom where they must store the raincheck cards and proceeded to scratch off the number 18 on our raincheck and write the number 9 indicating that after 7 holes he would only raincheck for 9. He then proceeded to do the same for the fellow who had played 11. I inquired about this fact that we had only played 7 and the other played 11 and he cheeky said " with a power cart too" and dismissed us. Hardly seems right seeing that we paid for the cart with our round...
