Taber Golf Club
Taber Golf Club originally opened in 1969 as a nine-hole course. The second nine wasn't added until a decade later, lengthening the course to just over 6,700 yards. The golf course stretches across what was once the site of an old mine. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an easy golf course to walk but also subjecting it to the wind. On blustery days, the course can be especially tricky. The front nine, known among regulars as the "Country Club Nine," has more trees than the back but it has a more player-friendly nature that will appeal to beginners. Taber Golf Club's challenging back nine will have you using every club in your bag to maneuver the twisting doglegs and subtle contours. Strategically placed bunkers come into play throughout, and there is also the occasional water hazard.

Great work on making the greens softer to enable the ball to stop. Manicured fairways in great form. Bunkers need work. Good job of leaf pickup.
It was great, the course was quiet, 3 1/2 hrs for a round. Service was excellent and we definitely be back and recommend it to anyone
I'll Be Back! Very nice. . .
Lots of mature trees add a nice feel to this well laid out 18 hole tract. Everything was in excellent shape. Pro Shop staff very friendly and accommodating. My wife's Service Dog (Corgi) was welcomed no problem. The Pro Shop is reasonably well stocked with quality products at competitive prices. Located conveniently on Hwy 3 on the west end of town. Traveling Hwy 3 this should be on your list of courses to play - period! Judging by the crowd of non golfers coming and going from the restaurant must attest to the quality of the fare.
Played April 9,2015
the course is in overall good shape. The front nine has maintenance in some fairways and greens. The back nine was in much better shape. Overall a good experience.
great course to play
Course was challenging especially for the short hitters, but gives one a chance along the fairways to make up for one's shortcomings. Great place to play, excellent, professional staff that accommodates everyone so they may enjoy their game.
#12 always a tricky green
This course has good challenges, excellent greens, placement of ball is not as easy as you think!
good value, fairways good and greens average, will golf their again. Thank you
Great day of golf
Course was in great shape. The fairways were like a carpets the greens were fast and true. I would certainly recommend a trip here to try it out
Out from Victoria where we would be paying double for this type of course. Greens were excellent and generally the course was in good shape.
Tees for all levels of golfers. Only complaint were the mosquitoes due I guess to the recent rains. Other than that a great value and expecially considering the deal we got from golf now.
Course is laid out well
Unfortunately, 9 holes of the course was closed due to work on the greens & the 9 holes I golfed, the greens were covered in sand. The experience of using GolfNow was great.
