About
Wainwright Golf Club is a two-hour drive from Edmonton and it sits just one hour from Lloydminster. The course has a traditional layout featuring a mix of tree-lined and links holes that offer plenty of variety. With narrow fairways lined with deciduous trees and small, tricky green, it's a golf course that demands accuracy. Straight shots will be generously rewarded and there is thick rough waiting to penalize errant shots. The original front nine is tighter than the back nine and there are more trees framing most of the holes. Though the back nine is more open, it's not any less challenging. In addition to the course, Wainwright Golf Club also has a practice facility with a driving range that extends more than 250 yards with several different targets and also a large putting green.

Great day
I have golfed the course multiple times. Every time I go out the course is in better condition. You can tell they take pride in the course. The staff are always friendly and eager to help.
Review
Good course, greens are not as nice as previous years
Course in good shape. This a course you need to manage which tests your skill. Greens have rebounded from spring and roll pretty good. Staff were great.
Nothing extra ordinary about that golf course, for the first 3 holes we were followed by a maintenance guy mowing the grass. On the tee off the guy never stop his lawn mower of working, it was really annoying and really start our round of golf on wrong foot.
Not impress!
Good value with hot deal
Would not play course at full price . average shape for a community course. Front 9 was ok but got behind a couple that were playing multiple balls on each holes looked like she was learning to golf. Course was fairly busy so a Marshall could have helped.
Decent course
Greens are in good shape but are extremely slow, and need to be cut regularly. Some really easy par 4's where there isn't need for an accurate tee shot, because their isn't really much trouble.
Overall good value; friendly staff.
Nice, intermediate friendly course; pleasant cordial staff. Pace of play was only fair because it was on a Sunday and course was busier than the usual weekdays when we typically golf. We'll definitely be back as enjoy adjacent camping.
First time in a couple years
Not my usual course and was warned that the new management have changed a few things, especially the price of a round. This was surely the case and I had been watching GolfNow daily for a decent price. It didn’t seem to be the case but I found this $12 rd just out of pure luck. Daily fees are quite expensive and the courses isn’t in superb shape, if you are looking to golf here daily probably best to get a membership or indeed watch GolfNow for a deal. Enjoyed my rd though but don’t see me going often at there prices.
