Great track overall
Greens had been punched and top dressed.. Would be nice to see a rate reduction.. Otherwise good value
Creston
My first time at this course. Our tee time was at a little after 11 but we thought we would arrive earlier to have a bite to eat only to find that the clubhouse didn’t open until 11. Otherwise than that we enjoyed the course and would come back again.
Golf at Creston
Great course, greens and fairway in good shape. Some very difficult holes. Too many 400 yd par fours for old guys. The ladies tees need to provide a little more distance for them on some holes. Overall, very enjoyable time. Once we learned the layout and obstacles, it made our second round a little easier.
Very Rough
Driving on this course will give you a sore back
Some cart paths are very bad
Greens are not conducive for amateur players very hilly
Reminds us of Princeton Golf Course
We just came from Kokanee Springs golf course, which we rate as an 'excellent' course. This was a 'good' course in comparison! Couldn't use a driver on every hole, makes you think (like Princeton!) Only hole 2 was kind of beat up in the fairway for condition. Was fun to play...think the holes were in particularly difficult positions for the day, but just adds to the enjoyment if you make a good shot or putt. Would recommend to others, but make sure to bring your bug spray and bear spray! Helpful tip, stay below the hole for your best chance of a putt!
Creston Golf Course
The golf course is fun and a challenging track. Fairways #1 & #2 are very bumpy but the grass is good and it only really affects your cart ride. Go slow! The course is a challenge and the greens are excellent & lightning fast. As an added bonus the scenery is fabulous! Well done Creston Golf Club!
Beautiful course
We love playing the Creston course - it’s beautiful & plenty of challenge. Friendly people too
Fantastic
Great round. Got paired up with a couple regulars and they were fantastic in helping me navigate the course. Highly recommend.
OK golf. Beautiful scenery. Suprisingly expensive!
It was ok. I booked a Hot Deal which almost always includes a golf cart, but I didn't double check. My bad. Arriving at the course from Spokane, we were met with very helpful and friendly staff who informed us the cost of golf (pre-paid) did not include a cart fee. The amount of cart rental was nearly the same as the cost of the golf. Like I said, I didn't double check. I will from now on. GN's Hot Deals do not always include a cart.
The golf was challenging. There is not a flat corner anywhere on the fairways or the greens. Not fond of gravel cart paths, but considering the location of the course, ice and snow probably make paved paths prohibitive.
Staff was friendly enough. Our suggestion to the front desk was to add direction markers to some of the tee boxes. We got lost a couple of times and nearly played the wrong hole. Not sure we'd travel that far to play again considering that the Hot Deal was not so Hot. Buyer beware!
Great course with many challenges!
I’ve played this course many times and it never gets old! Many challenges with awesome elevation changes, and all the other hazards you expect with water, bunkers and trees. The course is pretty wide and forgiving but she will bite if you stray too far! Staff are always friendly and helpful, with good drink choices and the food menu is very varied and tasty!
