Not what it once was
Having been a regular when this course was in its glory days of top canadian new course to seeing it now is quite disappointing. Many of the bunkers have been filled in, weeds stand where golden fescue used to be, the signature hole fountain seemingly isn't working, even the simplest of maitenance items like cutting back the yardage plaques on the tee boxes show a lack of care now that they are barely visible and overgrown. Still, the practice facility is the best in the area, the staff is friendly and the clubhouse is well stocked.
Kingswood got it right!!
Have played this course more times than I can count. Simply said, it is always a challenge, and always a pleasure to play.
It is always in top notch condition,, the greens are always consistent and the fairways and rough are well kept.
The layout is fun, with a nice mix of par 3's, par 4's and par 5's. fairways are large and receptive enough allowing you to use all of the clubs in your bag. What I really enjoy, is that there are always options for each shot (aggressive or conservative).
The 9 hole signature is a fun challenge too!! would recommend Kingswood Park Facility to anyone who plays golf, regardless of their level.
Beauty
A beauty, links style course in the Capitol city of New Brunswick. The rough will eat your ball. The fairways are generous though, and they're like hitting off a carpet. The holes are beautifully built with a nice waterfall on the signature hole. A beautiful facility with lots to do. Can't wait to go back.
