Greenwood Golf Club

We have golfed this course numerous times and never have been disappointed in the course or people we interact with in the shop. The fairways,greens and course is challenging but fair.....love this GREENWOOD GOLF COURSE.

Never disappointed in condition except the rough could be a bit shorter. Play time is always good and the staff are always pleasant . Don't know why i don't score better.

Can't say enough about this course and that is why I continue to return time and time again.

I would highly recommend this course, great value for the cost. Beautiful mature fairways, greens are fast and very well kept. No cheap easy holes, all present a respectable amount of challenges. Very nice Club house and meal value very reasonable for a quick lunch. Staff and other patrons very friendly.

What a shame it will be if this course closes at the end of season. I have played the course several times this year and will continue to return as often as possible.

Great location with wildlife and easier to challenging holes.

If you're in the valley or even the Halifax area (as I am) this course is worth the drive! It is 1.5 hours from the HRM but for the price you can't go wrong! The course is quite flat and distances from green to the next tee is short so it is a great course to walk. The Hot Deals always include cart so of course we drive and drink beer! LoL

Too bad that this military run course might be closed at the end of the season. I've heard romours that there is a new base commander and he is tryng to keep it open. Here's hoping!

Played Greenwood Golf course and what a shame if this course is no longer available after this season. Staff was very accommodating and friendly as was the course itself. Greens were fast and fairways well groomed. I will return as often as possible for more. I did note however, there were more singles playing on the day we were there than I had seen on previous outings which meant more playing through our group of four.

Enjoyed another great experience of golf and plan to return again and again. I recommend this to aLloyd golfers regardless of skills. Will certainly take my out of town guests and relatives to enjoy with me.

This course on the Air force base in Greenwood is scheduled to close at the end of this year. It is an awesome course with a challenging layout and will be missed. We wanted to play it one more time before it is scheduled to be shut down.

They are considering closing this golf course, and it's a amazing and difficult layout... worthy of staying in business. Sign the petition, Google "save the Greenwood golf course petition" !

Played the course yesterday and it's in the best shape ever. Used to be a member years ago before moving to the city but was in the area so wanted to play it again. Conditions were great ... pace of play was excellent (under 4 hours). Proshop staff were friendly and responsive. Tried the restaurant which had a good menu with lots of options and the service was fast and the food delicious. All around great experience and the prices are less than other courses in the area - so would definitely recommend.

First time here. Nice course in pretty good shape.

Good value for your money.

Hope to play it again before it closes.
