Beautiful
Awesome view . Course was dry , but rest of province is as well. Beautiful clubhouse.
Great Staff
Broken tees at boxes everywhere.
No cart person in the Heat.
I will be back.
Slow Play
The round took us 5 hours to play… waited to hit every shot. The course Marshall couldn’t get the slow group to pick up the pace. Very frustrating.
Due to the water restrictions, the fairways were extremy dry and the greens were very “hairy”/long so they wouldn’t dry out. The greens also had small weeds in them and the bunkers had lots of rocks in many of them.
The layout was fun and so were the scenic views. Too bad the conditions weren’t up to “par” for a championship course that charges high green fees. If the conditions were better, and the pace of play on track, I would play this course again.
It’s just Not worth it!
Over rated in my opinion, there are much better choices.. the lakes, Seaview for example…
Scenic view
Beautful scenery , great layout cut in the side off the hillside. Very challenging course with all the elevation changes coming into play.
Unfortunately in the middle of a drought season.
My friend got a Hole-In-One
My friend got a hole in one on #18. So, we loved the course
Great Course
Very good course, however it can be very difficult because if you slice, cut or overshoot. The chances of you finding your specific ball are very slim!
Beautiful scenery
Super friendly staff especially the marshal , some holes have long grades so you may want a cart. The pace was good as two golfers played it in 3 hrs and 40 min. The coarse was easy to follow holes challenging but very manageable. Love the coarse and scenery especially near the water. Would definitely play it again if we get back there.
Golfing on the Bras Dor lakes - not to be missed
Challenging course, on average good greens and fairways, pace of play is hit and miss depending on groups ahead of you. Overall excellent experience. I’ve played here for 30 years for reference.
Very nice staff
Course is in great shape, cart pathways need some work.
Course condition
I gave the course rating as fair because of the following:
They had received a major down pour a day or so ago so mowing was difficult to do. I also point out the fairways were burnt and the tee boxes were a mess (need to be seeded and leveled).
The greens had snow mould and need to be treated. The bunkers were poor condition with weeds growing in some which was a disappointment.
I love this course and will be back. I wish the course super would address this few items and then it would justify the fees charged. I got the after 3 rate but they did not tell me that they close 30mins before dark. We did not get to play the last 2 holes.
Nice surprise
I live outside of Philadelphia, so all my comments are in comparison to private courses in that region. I played Dundee twice. It's a good value for the money. The views are spectacular. You couldn't walk it. The slopes are extreme. That affects your shots as well as your legs. It takes a bit of local knowledge to figure out the right club for the severe downhill par 3 on the f9, for example. The second time I played, I had some friendly local partners to help me out and did better. Balls off the fairway are lost. Balls that don't hold the greens are often lost as they follow the slopes into the woods. The greens are bouncy, but once you're on, they are slow and true. Conditions- greens good, bunkers uneven and often a disaster, fairways a little dried out on some holes.
