About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Great track
Marshall and beverage staff absolutely great people, was a slower day do to a problem group 3 ahead of us, Marshall kept on them but they wouldn’t let anyone pass and we’re waiting for par 5’s to clear to hit their tee shots. Overall great course.
A favourite!
Very diverse, great views, perfect balance of challenging and open. Lots of fun with great practice.
Good course layout.
It is a course of 3 6s. The first 6 are in a wet valley woodland. Tight drives are needed to navigate it. The next 6 border the ravine and require longish Carrie’s to navigate. The final 6 holes are windswept exposed holes that while open looking are bordered by deep unfindable grass that swallow errant shots. Tough test from the tips.
Heritage Golf Day
Tee Time was 2;00pm Got off after 2;10 waiting for carts. Played in just under 5hrs. Play was steady with course full. Greens were a bit fuzzy but in great shape as were the fairways that have already received a few cuts. Weather was absolutely the best I've played in for April 15th, making the slight waits bearable. Staff and Beverage cart was prompt and very courteous. All making this first round of the year an extreme pleasure

So good to be out early. Greens a bit shaggy naturally for this time of year but fairways were in good shape.
Heritage Hills
First time here. What an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL course
We ve had record rains recently so the few boggy spots and water filled bunkers are forgiven
It appears that several holes are kept to cart path only at any time but likely reason for overall good conditions of fairways and around the greens
Great views and shot lines off nearly every tee. Tee boxes in great shape. Wide fairways with first shot placement key on a few holes. Not overly long with a couple short par 4s but good average hole length
Then there are the greens. I can’t say I have ever 5 putted in 40 years off playing but did so twice today and 3 jacked several more
Greens were immaculate and deceptively fast. What I thought was good pace routinely ran 5-8 feet past holes greens all all undulating and slope is more sufficient than appears. Even uphill lputts ran fast. Interested in how these play in dry mid season conditions
While I didn’t play well I thought horoughly enjoyed the course layout and meandering cart paths through woods end over streams. Good separation of holes
Even waiting on most tees I was around in 3 1/2 hours
Coming back here with my wife next year!

Heritage hills is always a great course to play. Greens and fairways in great shape and a nice mix of styles from 9 to 9.
