Wasps, slow play and no Bev cart
For 72$ I hate being chased by wasps ( lots of underground wasp nests), waiting 10-15 minutes between shots and having no Bev cart attention on a hot day. When we finished the round at 1151, the Bev cart was just being loaded up…
Course was in average condition, but they are still building and changing it. It was better than the last time with less ground under repair and no washed out greens.
hit with ball
i played 18 holes on sat and my friend (she) was hit with a stray ball witch no one yield FORE,,a marshal drove by and we notified her that my friend was just hit with a ball,, instead of asking my friend if she's ok, she asked where their ball was ,grabbed the ball and gave it back to the golfer,,not once did she get out of her cart nor asked my friend if she was ok!!!! spoke t the manager on monday(today) and all he could say what can i do to make it better,NOT once did he ever mentioned if she was ok!!!!! is that a course that u would take your love one or kids??????
Ok Course
Course is okay! Fairways need work. Not a real big difference between rough and the Fairways. A lot of wholes I couldn't tell which was which. No distance markers which was annoying. ( they are only on the ground, no posts) Bunkers were hard like playing on baseball infield. Tee boxes need work. The green's are small so hard to stick it on the green's but they were in excellent shape. Driving range is junk not maintained at all, no rubber tee's on the matts and it isn't really set up so you can hit of the grass. They have a nice little practice chipping area with a couple of practice bunkers that aren't maintained. So I'd say it's $30.00 a round course but that's not what they charge. Has potential with some TLC. Would go back if I couldn't get a tee time else where.
Hot day, cool golf
Every course in Ottawa had suffered a long winter, the greens weren't the worst in the area, but not the best. It's a pretty wide open course, you can almost always find your ball. Amazing and friendly staff from the pro shop to on the course. Even though it was the hottest day this summer (they even came out and gave us free water) it was a fun course and enjoyable day.
