Excellent place
Wonderful course, I have played here a few time and it keeps improving every time I come out, great little track they have. The greens have improved tremendously and the overall lay out is very nice.
I stopped by the patio last summer and I was very impressed by the food, great food and great value. Everyone was very friendly, I highly recommend this course especially if you like the 12 holes idea
Has potential
Nice area with potential but it needs works. Very tiny greens were in terrible shape and the course just opened this week. Some fairways are barely 20 yards wide. Won't play again
Confusion Abounds on this country course
This course at some point decided to eliminate 6 holes and today had one par 3 under repair some played 11. The signage from hole to hole is good, but GPS won't work for yardages as the holes have been rearranged. There are no yardage markers on the fairways so distances become a guessing game. Fairways were in OK shape and greens were pock marked and in need of repair. Club House looked nice and pro shop staff friendly. Carts were serviced, sanitized and in good shape. My wife and I played today because the price was right....probably wait until some TLC applied before we come back.
11 holes for the price of 12
8th hole not open
But course was alright otherwise
Fun to play a quick game
Beautiful day
The course has been changed to a 12 hole course from 18. There are still lots of challenges and some long holes. They have done a great job with all the added amenities but they have not maintained their greens at all. The fairways are decent but some of the greens were completely unplayable. There were huge sections of just dirt with no green at all. The food and the staff at the restaurant were excellent. I would come back for the food for sure. The golf was expensive considering the condition of the greens
Once was too many times
They put 14 people ahead of our tee time. Told we had to wait for a cart. ! hour for 3 holes. 4 groups on 2nd hole. Group ahead called pro shop on 3rd hole to complain. Greens were pasture - like. Complained on 5 th hole after 2 hours as a twosome went ahead of us while we used the washrooms. Staff just looked at me. Told him you might want to ask them why they did that? Total waste of time.
Fun times with family
Enjoyable afternoon. Some greens were in poor condition. Holes seemed to be cut small.
Worst course I’ve ever played.
I created this account just to write this review. The greens and fairways are an absolute mess. The fact this course feels it’s appropriate to charge $30+ dollars for the worst 12 golf holes I’ve ever played is ridiculous. I implore you to spend your money elsewhere.
Terrible course conditions
The entire course from fairways to greens was in terrible condition; shocked and I have never seen a course in this shape.
Poorly taken care of
Can’t tell if I’m putting on a green or a bunker. If they actually put the time and effort to make this course playable then the layout would be really fun to play.
Dorchester
Greens are very rough, as are the tee boxes. Staff doesn’t monitor tee times (a group had a tee time 20 minutes after us and staff let them go first, pushing our tee time back by about 15 minutes). No beverage cart came the entire round. Very compact layout so expect to be on other holes fairways and expect other golfers on yours.
Disappointed
Have played this course many times over the past 30 years. First as a 9 hole then 18 and now a 12. The course is in terrible condition. At least 4 greens are not puttable. Some are new but even some of the old holes are in terrible shape. Fairways are pretty rough. Sand traps are big holes in the ground. Looks like they’re putting money into the clubhouse but not the course. We will not be back this year.
