Great local course for a quick round
First time playing Byrnell, and although it’s a small country course, it is well laid out and a great course for practicing accuracy and control as the fairways are tight and unforgiving- as are the greens. Staff are A1 friendly and helpful. My son and I will be back for sure
Cottage course Fenelon Falls
Pretty basic 9 hole cottage course. Furry greens, tee boxes a mess. somewhat hilly. The greens could use a good cut and the holes are set in ridiculous positions on slopes, usually 3 feet from the edge of the green, no exaggeration. It's okay if you have 90 minutes to kill or are playing with beginners. A better choice (although still a cottage course) is Sturgeon Point.
A great day of golf
We were very fortunate to get there during a quiet time and had a fun, unrushed round. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We took a cart due to the heat but this would be a great course to walk around as some of the hilly sections would give a nice workout. I would return to this course as we enjoyed our round of golf.
Love it
I really enjoy this course. The greens are challenging and there is lots of variety.
Grass was nice
Just wish u had more staff there was no beer cart couple complaints from other golfers
