Best course in this area
Front nine is challenging lots of hills and slopes in play. It was the course's mens day so quite busy. I think it is the best course in this area of the Valley. The greens this year are looking rough, especially on the back 9. Without a sprinkler system I guess that's going to happen by 23 July. Although this has been a rainy summer. Numerous holes with some water that you need to avoid,
Good Value
Our round at the Homestead went quite well. We were greeted by a starter, who made sure we got off on time. The weather conditions and the course was not overly busy so we were able to finish our round ahead of time.
The fairways were nice and wide, but the biggest challenge was the large number of elevation changes that made it difficult to gauge the proper club to use.
The staff was very friendly. Overall, we thought the course presented a good value for the money and a worthy challenge to our golf skills.
Course improving every year
Fairways good. Tee boxes a little uneven in places. Cart paths have new gravel. Greens slow due to aeration. Some wet spots to be expected. Good early Spring challenge. Cheers!
Wolf Ridge
A couple of quirky holes but nice course with lots of elevation change. 1st time playing so couple of times hitting to wrong areas. If you’re staying in the area would recommend the course.
Great Bang for your buck
If you’re up at a cottage and want to play a round of golf this course has you covered. Great price, driving range. Much better then a lot of the courses in the area
