Slowest round ever
Foursome had an easy opportunity to let us as a carting twosome through saying that they were waiting on every hole and proceeded to go buy beers after they hit their balls in the water. They ended up three holes behind the group in front of them. No Marshall to keep speed of play up.
Horrible experience
Disrespectful players behind us had a problem with us from hole 3. Confronted my partner and I on hole 13. Yelling ensued in regards to telling them to mind their own business and play their own game. Unprofessional and rude marshall showed up on 14 and told us he was calling security if we didn't leave. Garbage golf course. Rude and unprofessional staff (exception club house staff that checked us in)
Will never golf here ever again!
Great day!
Course was in excellent condition. The Course offers some challenging but fair holes. Pace of play could be better but that's the only complaint and it wasn't too bad.
Pace of play
I know that being a municipal course pressure is given to make as much as possible. However l, stacking tee times isn’t the best thing. Pace of play is super slow. Also this course desperately needs a half way hit. When hole the course doesn’t return to the clubhouse at all until 18, you need something along the course somewhere to grab a dog or something.
Round at the Quarry
We got a great rate via a Hot Deal at Golf Now. Even the regular rate is pretty fair. The round was marred by very slow pace of play. We were able to tee off about 10 mins after our tee time but then fell very behind as the foursome ahead of us included a 1st time golfer with no clubs. We called the clubhouse but did not see a ranger come out to address the pace of play. We spoke to the group and they did improve somewhat but never offered to let us play through.
