Golf now process failure
My previous review was a critique of Golf Now and not the course (Fanshawe Quarry) itself. Golf Now did not respond to my cancelation request by either phone or website despite making the request within the alloted time frame and purchasing the tee time insurance. It is Golf Now who owes me a refund or credit and not the course itself. Course looks great, just don't use Golf Now to purchase tee time.
Refund or credit
Did not play this course due to weather forecast and requested cancelation well before the one hour deadline for which I had your tee time cancelation insurance so you owe me credit for price of this course as per your policy.
It's not a good idea for a rainy day
I was there on a rainy day, but it wasn't a good time with my family. They were not allowed to use a power cart because it was too wet, so I rented 2 pushcarts that were all broken. However, I had no choice to get a pushcart. Also, too many bugs and mosquitoes were around us, so my family couldn't finish that courses. We did half course and left early. I do not recommend getting there on a rainy day.
Nice and open, in great shape
Nice open forgiving course, a few longer par 4's and no 'gimmie' par 3's. Most of the course is pretty wide open and good for beginners.
Conditions were great, only a few greens with some ball marks and rough spots in fringes.
Solid course
Decent course, pace of play was a little slow, waiting approximately 5 minutes a hole. Course was in good shape, few tee blocks needed to be cut or were and poor condition but that’s too be expected. Greens were in good shape. For the price of $50 for 18 holes and a cart, can’t really beat it in the London area.
Quarry
If you want more of my money offer singles to play …
Great course excellent greens . Need to offer single play , I don’t Mind golfing with others but most times I golf single .
Golf now
Would play it more often but single golfers money don’t count … I don’t mind being paired up with others but I’m a single golfer and my group of friends work different shifts so it’s rare we can golf together .
Oh well money spent at other courses ……
Overall good course
Shorter course that requires you to stay straight or you’ll find trouble. Course was well maintained and nice weather this week. Fun round of golf
Good
I went there 2-3times a week, and I loved to go there every time. I hope that I would go and play golf next year too.
