Best to avoid after heavy rain.
A picturesque course. Front nine is quite narrow, so errant shots from adjacent fairways can be a problem. Back nine traverses a couple ravines. Overall, drainage is slow so expect soggy spots after heavy rain.
Choppy Course
We love this course but today we had to play the back 9 two times as aeration was being done on the front nine. Normally a warning would be posted on Golf Now but I did not see anything when I booked yesterday. Also the back nine where we played had some very bad holes and ground dug up on the fairways - it was hard to tell what it was from and had no rhyme or reason to the interference. The ball made some interesting jumps when hitting the holes, the ground or the mounds that were beside some of the holes. Surely hope this course if back to its lovely conditions soon.
Great Day
The course was in excellent condition ,the staff were very friendly. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!
Nicely maintained
I have been playing at different courses through "Golf Now", this one is one of the best. Smaller course, good for beginners and intermediate players. Greens and fairways are well maintained. Most holes are quite forgiving but not lack of challenges.
Like the battery operated cart much better.
1st Time at Kettle Creek
Thoroughly enjoyed the first time experience at Kettle Creek. The course and greens were in great condition. We started at the end of their ladies club tournament and were greeted by a great guy in the pro-shop. He certainly made my wife and I feel welcome. The course was a bit confusing to navigate the first time.. s it had some hidden obstacles. This did not detract from our overall enjoyment. We will be back.
Great Course
A very interesting and challenging course. Lots of hills and nice landscape scenery.
Loved it !
First time here and was quite impressed with all the different elevations. Will definitely be back !
Great course
front nine is easier fairways are wider..great layout.back nine has a hole going up couple hundred ft.then couple holes later standing on a ridge looking at the green 200 ft down.loved it..2 island holes.
Fun course
First time out there. Short course at 5200 yards, but uniquely laid out so the course did not feel overly short. Keep it in the middle of the fairway and you have a great opportunity to score well. Typical mid summer dryness, so there was obviously some brown grass out there but the greens were in great shape
Some challenging holes
A relatively short yet enjoyable course. There are a couple of holes, especially on the back nine that demand accuracy or you can pay a stiff price. I wouldn't recommend walking, especially on a hot day as the walk from 17th green to 18th tee is a very long and steep uphill trek. I've played this course a number of times and will play it again. A bonus is... once you finish your round you can go to the Port Stanley beach!
We found the course to be in very good condition and enjoyed the game. This was very good value for the money.
Beautiful property
Excellent course for mid to low handicap golfers. Front nine has some challenging water enhanced holes. Greens are coming in quickly- give it a couple more weeks and they should be Very Good.
Tougher Course than scorecard appears
This par 67 course is a beautiful but tough course. Scenery is great, Greens are a reasonable size and course is maturing. It is easy to get in trouble on this course with a 2.5 inch rough and trees that are low to the ground. A challenging but fun course to play.
