About
Phillips Municipal offers wide-open fairways with generous landing areas, and greens that are in solid condition. This is an enjoyable course to play for the average golfer because of its reasonable length. Four par 4s are just over 300 yards. The signature hole is No. 8, a 373-yard par 4 that requires a blind tee shot over a hill. Nos. 7 and 13, both short par 3s, offer good birdie opportunities in addition to the par 4s.
Getting there : From Highway 207 driving south, take Country Club Road west 3 blocks to the course.

This course needs work. There are no sand traps. Where the sand traps were, there are holes with thick deep grass and weeds
Needs work
Could be a really nice course but needs work. Cart paths incomplete. Ground is very hard with lots of dirt due to lack of grass and water. Staff is very friendly and food and drink prices are average. Just need to water fairways and greens more. Possibly put some lime down to soften the ground.
