Good value and fun
The Classic is a smaller course with par 3s and 4s. Some of the par 3s are a little long but very doable.
Quick but pleasurable course.
Lots of parking. Good price.
Pace was slow from start to end
We saw the Marshall and we were informed that he spoke with the group that slowed things don, but the pace did not improve.
Poorly designed
No water/beverage/food service available after 9 holes. No bathroom after 9th hole, only a hard to find portable that was beyond disgusting. Chunk of old mushroom in my pint of beer at the clubhouse. Tee blocks in terrible condition. Sand traps hard as cement. No direction marking from green to next tee every hole. Bartender didn’t apologize for food bits in my beer. Parking is chaos, nowhere near enough spots. No Marshall to help play time. Waiting for 3-5 minutes average for tee offs. Only saving grace is the starter at first hole…very nice guy. Played the Classic…anything but that. Will not be back…terribly dissatisfied.
Nice Course, good facility, great people.
We had to leave early because the people behind us had no patience and almost hit us with three balls even after we called out and asked them to stop. I screamed at those people and they blamed us for waiting in the shade, on the side instead in the middle so they thought we were from other holes...
Executive Par3
The staff were very polite, friendly and efficient!
The Marshal respectfully kept everything under control!
The course was in decent shape and enjoyable to play!
Just wish some day soon I can use a Golfpass Credit.
Course was okay. A little messy on some greens. Pace was a little slow throughout the middle.
Executive course - name it what it is
Gotta rant… tired of the marketing game where you can’t filter searches to exclude these. The 2 rating would move to a three if the course name changed to “Executive Classic”. Course review - Primarily par 3s with the occasional driver option. Played on a sunny day, however prior rain day “flooding” was evident across many holes - not excusable as the Grange course (part of the same Rolling Hills complex) exceeds at this. Bunkers were unplayable. Retrieved six golf balls from the four inch deep ‘lake’ in the middle of the 18th (only one was mine). May return but not for at least a month… that’’s how long it will take for the fairways, bunkers, and paths to recover from beginner cart damage. Pace was slow. Better ‘executive’ values not far away.
Good for practice your swings
Good place to practice your swing. Lots beginners play here, pace is slow behind new golfer and balls sometimes flying across holes.
Beautiful short course
Fairways and greens were in excellent condition, good value for money. Would have loved to play a few par 5's, but it had mostly par 3 and 4's. Will play again, may be in the fall.
