Rolling Hills Golf Club - Classic

Lovely flat course…great for first time out this delayed season!

Possible thunderstorms were on the weather report, but it was a beautiful night. We were glad to be out golfing again !!

Initially I booked for 4 to play on Thur June 3 at 12:05. Because of weather condition I booked the t spots on Wed June 2 at the same time on Mon May 31 evening. On June 1 Tues morning I called the Rolling Hills 1-800-276-9542 to cancel the June 3 appointment. Despite the GolfNow's 24 hour cancellation policy they refuse to give me the refund. Instead they have sent me ONE certificate good for a credit equal to the total amount I paid for the booking of 4 of us to play the Rolling Hills Classic on June 3 at 12:05.

This is not what I understand after reading your 24 hour cancellation policy. If this is indeed your policy please change it so that I can understand it.

Ladies need the washrooms on course

We like to walk 9 to 14 holes depending on heat

First time golfing and enjoyed it very much. People were friendly and the game was at a good pace.

It felt rather pretentious. They staff were not particularly welcoming and I felt rushed. The other golfers also seemed to exhibit a sense of superiority reminding my group of poor "etiquette" on the course.

This course generally exhibited the exact behavior that keeps people from getting in to golf.

I will not be back. Not that it really matters anyway.

Didn’t want classic as it’s an executive style. Condition was ok but a lot of 170-185 yard par 3 straight ahead. Got redundant. Starter was pretty rude and it was pretty uncomfortable talking with him. Worst stafff/ Marshall experience I’ve ever had and that’s before even teeing off. Pace of play was brutal.. by the time we got to 16 it was 3 groups backed up at every tee box . Playing partners had a flat tire mid way and we also saw another group with a flat tire on their cart. Alll in all that course I’d play again for 30-35$ for short game practice; but that’s about it

Tees and greens too close to each other

Balls flying everywhere

Heard no one yell fore once

Did have many balls land in our fairway several times

Noticed at least 4 carts broken down in the fairways

This course is somewhat neglected where the greens are not as good as it was. The CLUBLINK website shows $30 for this course which is about correct but I paid $45 plus tax WALKING. It is way overpriced and I only played there because it is close to my home. I will drive further now instead of playing this course unless the price is put back to what it was before. I actually played better and FULL courses for less than what I paid for this short course. I think the pandemic made a lot of people started playing golf and do not care what they pay for it. It is SAD.

Good par 3 / par 4 course to practice your driver and irons. Course greens are decent but can be better.
