Short Course and very tight
There isn’t much run off and the holes are bunched up together. If you’re off a bit, you’re into the next fairway. I’d skip the classic course and go for the challenge course in Rolling Hills. Classic is cheaper but it’s not worth saving the few bucks.
Unless you want to work on your short game, then this is perfect. Pitching and putting is most of what you do. Only 7 or 8 holes where a driver or wood is needed.
No vendor
There were no vendor on the course. Especially on hot day. A nice cold anything would be great
A very pleasant surprise and so close to home!
We played the classic course on a beautiful summer day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for us, who were new players to the course. The level of play was challenging yet allowed for a very good game, and no lost balls! We are planning to return from Toronto to play the other courses. The value for money was excellent. The length of travel time is perfect for a getaway course near the city. Well done Rolling Hills!!
Not bad
Executive course not bad but golf cart was shaky at best, had to change carts on first fairway, seat fell through, next one they brought out strap was broken to hold bag. Overall course wasn’t too bad starting like that didn’t help
Good value but need to replace carts badly
After years of playing the 3 rolling hills courses, they continue to have more severe problems with the golf carts starting, every time you got to pump the choke and gas petal and wait for a minute till it starts to move. It does ruin the fun and the overall experience. I would rather pay another $5 a round to know they would get new golf cars.
A good golf
We enjoyed the opportunity to practice our fundamentals
Great short game warmup
Long par threes and fours.
Great four short game.
Great round at rolling hills
Rolling Hills Classic golf course was perfect for my foursome of women intermediate golfers. The fairways are forgiving and the varied hole distances were great. The staff was very friendly as well. It started to rain so we did not get our round in but we are planning to return next week!
Just bewildered
As I waited for the lady in front of me to finish checking in, I was just disgusted by the fact that she kept coughing into her hand and still trying to get her transaction done. The young lady in the pro shop apparently thought nothing about it but I did. I mentioned something to one of the other employees there and he tried to make it seem like it wasn't a big deal, but in the current situation it is. I like your course for the most part, however I have had a few issues and they don't seem to be getting solved. I understand that in the face of what we are going through that your hands may be tied to some problems, but there should never be a safety issue with people working or using your course. The usual problems that I have are carts on the greens, people not yelling for and errant shot, or even very slow play. These I have to deal with now because of this virus and that should be the important thing. When people are not doing all they can to protect themselves and others who are around them, then you and your staff must step up. I was genuinely concerned about what happened in your pro shop and so should everyone else who was in and around then too. Please either ask people to leave or to sanitize immediately if they are coughing so as to not make it a problem with the others there.
An excellent course worth every penny!
If you are a regular golfer living in the GTA, St. Andrew's Valley is a must play course. The design is both beautiful and challenging with great views and friendly staff.
Great rounds for Fathers Day!
Everything was great! The only thing that could have been better would be to sell refreshments at some point along the classic course.
