Brownfield’s course is a simple little layout featuring wide-open fairways and medium-sized greens. Wind can be a factor here, and there are a few drainage ditches that serve as water hazards.
Among the toughest holes are No. 3, a 195-yard par 3, and the 418-yard par 4 No. 5. Both par 5s are well under 500 yards, and holes 2 and 4 are short par 4s that are good birdie opportunities as well. Two sets of tees allow for an 18-hole round. Pay once and play all day.
Getting there : From Highway 380 driving east, turn right on Country Club Road and drive about 2.5 miles. The entrance is on the left side of the road.
