Avondale Golf Course
About
Avondale Golf Course has a unique and enjoyable layout that deftly combines classic links holes and woodland holes. The result is one of Prince Edward Island's most challenging layouts. The course features large, rolling greens and undulating fairways that are bordered by treacherous white sand bunkers, which present a formidable test for even the most skilled golfers. There are four sets of tees though, to accommodate beginners and intermediate players. To warm up for the golf course, golfers can take advantage of Avondale's double-ended practice facility with putting, chipping, and pitching greens as well as practice sand bunkers. The club is located less than 30 minutes east of Charlottetown.

The Locals Know
Arguably the best course design on PEI. Thought I’d required on every shot. Plays well from all blocks. Course conditions had a bit of a history but in the last five years you’d have a hard time finding better. Clubhouse stays open and kitchen is always on. Great range to practice on.
Great course, amazing staff
Fun course, some very driveable par 4's and challenging par 3's and 5's. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Great value, excellent golf course
Played this golf course with 3 of my friends in early August and we had a great time! We played the blue tees and the course provided a very good test. The course was in superb condition and the wind was wreaking havoc. Fantastic blend of links golf on the first couple of holes before heading into the tree-lining holes. We played 18 holes in just over 3 hours.
The beverage cart was out and the brews went down rather smooth! The staff was very friendly from the moment we arrived.
Can't wait until the spring when we can play again!
Great Course
The course was in great shape. The greens were true and rolling very nice. Each hole is a different layout and with 4 sets of tees it suits everyone's golfing abilities. This course is a great course to add to your list of courses played.
Do not play
Played this course last year and it was atrocious. I was told the irrigation system broke down and they did not fix it in a timely manner. The sod on the
fairway and greens were actually cracking and curling up. I went back this year and the first hole did not look too bad so I took a chance on playing again. The fairways and greens are still burnt out. Some greens did not even have one blade of grass.
