Gray Rocks Resort - La Belle

This is throwback golf. This course was built in the 1920's and it shows. Holes roll through a majestic pine forest. Back Nine is hillside going from and to the ancient Grayrock ski hill. The course is walkable but you need to be in shape. Back nine seemed easier to me. 13 and 17 are reachable par 4's for long hitters (310 and 285 yds). Majestic views are on the menu (hole 15). Lowest price in the Tremblant touristic area. It's worth going if you like mountain courses.

We came with a group of 16. The staff and golf course could not have been more accommodating. Our handicaps ranged from 5 to 40, and everyone was happy with the golf course. It wasn't too difficult, but had some beautiful holes, and a few challenging ones as well. The pace of play was pretty quick because there wasn't a ton of places to lose your golf ball. Both nines had some great elevated tee shots, and the course conditions were great.

I have a chalet not far away and I always make sure to play La Belle when I come up in the summer.
This year I was a bit disappointed with the pro shop as they would not allow me to purchase a small bag
of one dollar tees on my interact. The lady said "You must have enough cash to buy a bag of tees", which I think was a bit rude. She said that La Belle have to pay a commission to process the purchase and that I should have the correct change....OMG! She must have definitely been a part owner or shareholder.
And then no cart person on the course which was disappointing as I brought up a friend from Toronto and always talked very highly of the course.
Not used to the attitude in the pro shop and that person should not be dealing directly with the public.
Other then that experience we had allot of fun on a very good course.

This course is great, the fairway are in very good condition. It seem that this course is no more in your list of course available under golf now
